As part of our strategic growth, Safaba is currently seeking a Director of Marketing to help develop, implement and lead the execution of Safaba’s marketing plan.
Role Description
The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of Safaba’s annual marketing plan, with responsibility for driving demand, lead generation and building relevance for the Safaba brand world-wide. This is a senior role where the primary goal is to develop and execute a marketing plan that measurably contributes to the sales objectives and pipeline and to the revenue goals of the company. We are looking for a hands-on person who will be able to assume ownership over content development for all marketing and communication channels as well as lead new marketing initiatives and manage internal and external resources.
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate progressive approaches and extensive experience in the latest digital marketing channels, an outstanding track-record in developing and executing successful lead generation initiatives, channel marketing and communications.
Our ideal candidate should have an excellent track record with experience gained from within a technology company targeting the enterprise market.
Key Responsibilities
The Director of Marketing’s main responsibility is to develop and lead the execution of Safaba’s annual marketing plan, focused on demand and lead generation.
This includes keeping abreast on market developments, analyzing their potential impact on Safaba’s market strategy and providing relevant information to Safaba’s executive team. The candidate will also be responsible for the development of Safaba’s messaging, collateral, marketing communications content and lead generation activities. The candidate will be expected to represent the company in public events and customer interactions as needed.
Responsibilities also include:
- Developing, maintaining and leveraging market analyst relations
- Performing on-going comprehensive market analysis
- Weighing in on company’s business strategy discussions
- Leading the development of Safaba’s brand collateral
- Developing and executing digital media strategy
The candidate should be open to travel at least 25% of his/her time.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years hands-on marketing leadership with demonstrated knowledge of marketing plan development and execution
- Strong project and people management skills and attention to detail
- Strong and demonstrable understanding of enterprise customers
- Experienced with lead generation channels and methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong presentation skills and public speaking experience
- Excellent English – must, additional languages – advantage
